How we rank providers

What we measure

For every provider and offer we capture six fields that the rest of the market tends to obscure:

• True all-in monthly price, the typical ongoing cost including consult and membership fees and dose escalation, not a teaser or first-month rate.
• Compounded vs FDA-approved, labeled on every single offer. We never imply a compounded product is FDA-approved.
• LegitScript certification, whether the provider holds this independent certification.
• Named pharmacy, whether the provider discloses which pharmacy compounds or dispenses the medication.
• Real, count-weighted reviews, Trustpilot and BBB figures with their counts, not opinion scores.
• Cancellation & billing terms, auto-renewal, notice periods, and documented complaints.

How we rank

The default order is simple and the same for everyone: lowest honest all-in monthly price first. You can re-filter by medication, type, price, and certification. Rankings depend only on the data, never on whether we earn a commission from a provider.

Where the prices come from

Every price is read off the provider's own public page and stored with a link to that page and the date we read it, so any number here can be checked against its source. We grade each one:

• Source-verified, read from the provider's own public pricing page on the date shown. This is the standard the site runs on.
• Checkout-verified, carried through a real checkout, which catches fees that only appear at the last step. Stronger, slower; we promote offers to this over time.

The freshness note on the homepage is counted from the data itself rather than written by hand, so it cannot claim more than the catalog actually supports.

When a provider won't publish a price

Some providers publish nothing until you're inside an intake form. We record that as not publishedand leave it blank. We do not estimate on their behalf, and an unpriced offer is never sorted as if it were cheap, never counted as “cheapest”, and never matched against a budget, an unknown price is unknown, not low.

We also separate the membership or program fee from the medication priceand add them up ourselves. That's the most common way a monthly cost gets made to look smaller than it is: advertise the medication, keep quiet about the mandatory membership running alongside it.

How we make money

Two ways, both walled off from the rankings.

Sponsorship. A small number of clearly labeled slots, sold at a published price that rises with each slot sold. A sponsor gets a labeled unit in a fixed position and nothing else, not a ranking, not a score, not a place in the comparison table, not a word of the write-up. Our ranking code has no access to who is paying us. If a provider we compare buys a slot, the unit says so and their data does not move. See sponsorship.

Affiliate links. Where we have a relationship, we may earn a commission if you sign up through a link, at no extra cost to you. We only ever place one for a LegitScript-certified provider that is not under FDA action, and it never changes rankings, prices, or sort order. See our affiliate disclosure.

We do not sell, prescribe, or ship medication, and nothing here is medical advice. Always consult a licensed clinician and confirm current terms on the provider's own website before purchasing.
